"Monsieur Reading, Cafˇ The"

Here we have a typical Parisian scene, monsieur reading at the Royal Bar. He looks a lot like my Francophile friend, Tom, wearing his customary outfit, BSK (blue shirt and khakis.)

I did this one right after finishing Madame Reading, No Parking. They both evoke the French attitude of enjoying the quiet moments in life, which I am trying to practice here in Berkeley. I tend to relax more with a novel, like madame, than with a newspaper. Perhaps Le Figaro would suit me better than the Chronicle.
