"Green Bicycle, Foie Gras"

On an excursion outside of Toulouse, I spied this wonderful combination and took a picture. The older woman returning to her bicycle must have thought I wanted her picture too, and was none too pleased. She gave me quite a look. In my studio I put the baguettes and basket in for fun. We later visited the duck farm where they made the foie gras, which means fat liver. The French people prefer duck to goose- a stronger flavor. Luckily it was not in operation. I do love it, but try not to think about the process, which involves force-feeding. They claim the animals are well treated and come running to get their corn and a neck massage. OK.
